          Meet the Presenters:

          David Shoup, Esq.

          David Shoup is a Business, Corporate, and Business Succession Planning Attorney as well as the co-owner of Shoup Legal.

          David spent eight years serving our country in the United States Marine Corps as an infantryman. He left active duty in 2012 to continue his education. After graduating with honors from the University of California, Riverside with a Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology, David earned his Juris Doctor, graduating magna cum laude from California Western School of Law in San Diego.

          He has assisted businesses from Sacramento California down to El Cajon in San Diego. These include multi-million dollar businesses down to startups in many different industries.

          He assists businesses by structuring them, protecting them, developing succession plans, business owner estate plans, and preparing contracts.

          David enjoys working with clients to serve their business and estate planning needs. He lives in Murrieta, California with his wife, Andrea, and their four children.

           

          KC Bean, Esq.

          KC has been practicing as a corporate and intellectual property law attorney for nearly 20 years. He has held positions in large corporate legal departments and law firms. His practice areas include a broad range of simple and sophisticated business formation, from mom & pop to multi-national subsidiary structures. He handles many types of contracts matters, including leases, buy-sell transactions, supplier agreement, sale & distribution agreements and intellectual property licensing. KC also provides counsel to businesses on IP strategies designed to focus intellectual property resources to align with corporate objectives and monetize IP assets.

          KC holds a BS and JD. He is a member of the American Intellectual Property Law Association, San Diego North County Bar Association, and he is admitted to practice in California and before the United States Patent and Trademark Office.

          KC resides in Vista and has been married to his wife for 20 years. He is also the proud father of two boys.
